About Cathy Lane

Boat the Boat B&B reflect Cathy’s successful career as a top artist and designer. Trained as a professional artist, Cathy's pieces were purchased internationally and have been published by some of the world's largest publishing houses. Cathy also worked closely with top architects and designers as an art consultant to finish corporate and private buildings.

After over 20 years as the owner and operator of an event design company, Cathy has channeled her artistic passion into creating Board the Boat B&B. Her goal was to create a Bed and Breakfast experience in Wasaga Beach that was comfortable, unique and inspired the imagination.

Cathy has lived in the area for over 40 years, and is an expert guide that can help you find activitirities for a perfect stay. In her spare time, Cathy spends her time hiking, snow-shoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, cycling, gardening or exploring the region for interesting art pieces.
