Picture yourself unwinding in our hot tub or sauna after a day of exploration, with easy access to the beautiful beach for a truly unforgettable getaway. Not only are you steps away from the longest freshwater beach in the world, but you are also in our little secret area, as few people know about this access, making it very quiet and peaceful.

Yes, you can check in anytime after 4 o’clock. Please ensure you have all the correct check-in instructions.

Typical check-in time is 4, and checkout time is 10. If given enough time and schedules allow, we can adjust; however, a $25 fee per hour applies. Please let us know in advance if you require flexibility.

Everything inside your studio or cottage is just for you!

Yes, your studio comes equipped with a kitchen and fridge, allowing you to prepare your meals. We do not supply any meals for your stay.

Please leave the garbage in your studio, and we will take care of it. Remember to separate the liquor, bottles, and cans for donation.

No candles are allowed on the property.

We love kids; however, we don’t have high chairs, cribs, or playpens.

Please leave everything as neat as possible, and if you wish, you can strip the bed.

Yes, however, you book the times that you would like to use them, so you have exclusive use during that time.

There is an outside pegboard located beside the side door. Place your “buoy” with the initials of your studio beside the time you want, and you will have exclusive use during that time.

Love it if you do, but if not, I do keep some wood here for you.

You will see the place to start your fire at the back of the sauna. Just start your fire, close the door, and check it in about 1/2 hour to make sure you have a good fire and to see if it needs more wood. It takes about an hour to reach the ideal temperature for a sauna, so allow it time. Just make sure the backfire door is always closed. Don’t worry about putting the fire out. It will go out on its own.

Ensure that the umbrellas, furniture, and any flammable items are kept away from the pit. Best if the umbrellas are down. Have a water source and a metal stick nearby to move the wood in the pit.
Don’t build the fire too high or add more wood than you need for the length of time you'll be there. Please put the fire out when you leave.

There is enough space for four cars at the Boutique Retreat and on Board the Boat. Please park conservatively so everyone fits. If your vehicle does not fit, please call or text me at 705-441-0250.

The boutique retreat can accommodate up to 4 guests, and there is sufficient space for one car per studio at Board the Boat. Please let me know if you need more space, and if I can accommodate you, I will.

The beach is just one block away and is one of the quietest beaches in Wasaga!

Board the Boat features a massive generator that is hard-wired, ensuring you are never without power. The Boutique Retreat is close to “borrow “ power from the main building for necessary things.

We used the sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge without any issues, and all the kitchen appliances worked. The house is clean, but it's a lived-in clean, so don’t expect a perfect show home kind of clean! It’s a very comfortable, homey feeling! No complaints!”
